Otsego and Beyond

Photography by Mark Zeek

Otsego and Beyond: Photography by Mark Zeek shares over five decades of his photographic journey. Zeek’s work spans both film and digital photography, offering a glimpse into his evolution as an artist. Starting with his efforts developing film in improvised darkrooms, Zeek has built a stunning

collection of images that range from local landmarks in Cooperstown and Otsego County to the Erie Canal, national parks, and beyond.

Zeek’s photographs capture the subtle beauty of upstate New York's landscapes, from a quiet evening on Main Street Cooperstown to the serene shores of Otsego Lake. His work offers a compelling view of the world around us, bringing attention to both the grandeur of nature and the charm of everyday moments.

Luck of the Draw

Biennial Exhibit & Event Fundraiser

Luck of the Draw is a fan-favorite fundraiser that comes around every other year. Luck of the Draw begins with an exhibit that features 80 pieces of artwork donated by our very generous local artists and craftspeople. 80 tickets for this event are available for sale, and ticket holders are tasked with ranking each artwork in the exhibit on a 'wish list,' which is then returned to the CAA and used during the final ticket drawing event to determine what work of art they go home with! You can't lose! Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 4!

Luck of the Draw tickets will be on sale until October 19 during our Gallery Hours, and the Ticket Drawing will take place on October 20 at 2pm! For more information about this exhibit CLICK HERE
