| Reflections on Glimmerglass is an exhibit in conjunction with Otsego 2000 at The Smithy Gallery.
Reflections on Glimmerglass celebrates the 25th anniversary of the Glimmerglass National Register Historic District with a compelling collection of artwork and photography centered on Otsego Lake. Created by local artists, the pieces honor the lake’s designation as a landscape of historical and cultural importance—a status secured in 1999 through the efforts of Otsego 2000.
The exhibit highlights how Otsego Lake has shaped the region’s identity through its natural beauty and rich history. From camps and boathouses to the lake’s enduring presence in literature and art, the show offers a seasonal and timeless reflection of this cherished landmark.
This exhibit will be on display July 2 - August 30 during our Gallery Hours, Tuesday - Saturday from 11am-4pm. |
