JOIN US FOR OUR FINAL EXHIBIT OF THE SEASON! Opening Reception Tuesday, July 22, from 5-7pm Music & Movement will be an exhibition featuring artwork by both Smithy Member Artists and invited Guest Artists. Music & Movement goes hand in hand with art. There is a close association between music, form, and color. Notions such as tone, composition, and intensity all share values in movement, music, and art. Rhythm, pattern, depth, and dynamic perspective all create movement within musical and artistic spaces alike The first two floors of The Smithy Gallery will feature work by Smithy Member Artists along with Guest Artists who have been invited based on their exceptional and creative talents within the theme. This exhibit will remain on display through August 30 during our Gallery Hours, Tuesday - Saturday from 11am-4pm. * The Smithy Gallery will be closed Saturday, July 26, for Hall of Fame Induction Weekend. Fusing piano, bass, and projection, they create immersive, improvised performances that explore history, art, and space. Drawing from classical and jazz traditions, their work incorporates storytelling, architecture, and audience interaction. They've performed at venues including Carnegie Hall, the Banff Centre, and international festivals.
