| What is Spring Cleaning Art Bazaar?... It is a "yard sale" of sorts, held every other year at the CAA, where you can browse gently used fine arts and crafts donated by area artists and patrons, as well as an assortment of good-condition arts supplies and materials, all available at deeply discounted prices! There is something for everyone – ceramics by local artisans, paintings, etchings, pastels, antiques, frames & textiles all at reasonable prices! All proceeds from this sale benefit the CAA and its Prize Fund for artists.
Donations Needed!... Spring Cleaning wouldn't be possible without the generous donations of our patrons, artists, and community members. Think you might have gently used fine art and craft pieces, or good-condition arts supplies and materials, to donate to this fundraiser? Follow these steps:
- Start building your donation pile today. Take a peek in your closets, refresh the art hanging on your walls, and clear out those pieces that haven't seen the light of day in a while.
- Donation Delivery. Once you have your donations prepared, deliver them to the Cooperstown Art Association during our delivery period, Feb. 23 - 27 from 11am-4pm.
- Not sure what to donate? The Cooperstown Art Association is accepting gently-used ORIGINAL fine arts & crafts, tasteful/high-quality framed posters & prints, and good-condition/unused arts supplies & materials.
- Questions? If you have questions about an item you are considering donating and are not sure if it meets our criteria OR if you cannot delivery your donations during our designated delivery window, please reach out to us as soon as possible! (607) 547-9777 or gallery@cooperstownart.com
Don't forget to return... Get in on the fun! Come back during Spring Cleaning's, March 7-28 during regular gallery hours, to browse the donations we collected and leave with a something new-to-you! |
