Awards will be announced at 6:00 p.m.!  This festive evening is free and open to the public, featuring refreshments by Brimstone Bakery of Sharon Springs and live music by Duopoly, featuring Gus Leinhart and John Davey.  Gallery Hours: Tuesday - Saturday | 11am-4pm  A National Exhibition of  Artistic Excellence  The National Juried Art Exhibition is one of the Cooperstown Art Association’s longest-running and most prestigious annual exhibitions, showcasing fine artists from across the United States!  This year’s exhibition features the work of 105 artists representing 10 states, highlighting wide- ranging contemporary artistic practices. Serving as Juror of Selection and Awards, Elizabeth Keithline reviewed submissions from across the country and selected 117 works for inclusion in the exhibition.  Keithline is an internationally exhibited artist known for her innovative wire sculptures exploring themes of technology, the built environment, and climate. Since developing her signature technique in 1996, she has expanded her practice to include sculpture, installation, fiber art, public art, and collaborative “shadow paintings” derived from her sculptural work. Her work has been featured in solo exhibitions nationwide and reviewed in The New York Times, Sculpture Magazine, and The Boston Globe.  The resulting exhibition spans drawing, painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture. More than a dozen awards will be presented during the Preview Party. Gallery Hours: Tuesday - Saturday | 11am-4pm Awards & Scholarship Presentation at 6 pm Awards will be presented at 6:00 PM in recognition of outstanding artistic achievement across 18 categories. Honors include the Grand Prize, Awards of Merit, and awards celebrating excellence in realism, humor, innovation, and a variety of other artistic accomplishments. The evening will also feature the presentation of the 2026 Cooperstown Art Association Art Scholarship Awards, recognizing and supporting Otsego County students as they pursue higher education and careers in the arts. This year, the Cooperstown Art Association is proud to award scholarships to two local students as they begin their university studies later this summer. Check out our FULLY STOCKED Gallery Shop!
