Class Description: For beginning and advanced students. Learn the fundamentals of figure drawing and basics of artistic anatomy that have been developed by artists for centuries. Working from a live model, and a life-size skeleton, students will examine skeletal landmarks and muscles composition of the human body, and how they relate to the observed figure in the applied arts.
About Paul Marcellino: Paul studied at Temple University in Philadelphia and Rome, Italy and received his MFA from the New York Academy Of Art in Manhattan. He’s taught classes and workshops a Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, the New York Academy Of Art, New York State, summer school for the arts at SUNY Cobleskill, Niskayuna school District, and has exhibited his work in New York State (including The Cooperstown Art Association) for over 30 years.
Who is this for?: Adults, all skill levels welcome.
Materials: Students bring notebook, pencil, or any other sketching materials they would like to bring.
Where: This class will meet in the Cooperstown Art Association's Upstairs Classroom Space on the designated dates & times. |
