The Cooperstown Art Association is bringing back its biennial fundraiser, Luck of the Draw, and we’d love for you to be part of it!

We’re currently seeking donations of original artwork valued at $80 or more from local and regional artists. Your contribution helps support the CAA’s exhibitions, programs, and ongoing work to connect our community through the arts.

Ready to Participate?

We’re accepting up to 80 donations*, so don’t wait!

We welcome:

Wall-hung artwork
Sculpture
Fine craft
Jewelry sets
Small collections of ceramics or other work

*Limit: 1 RSVP per artist. If you don’t have a single piece valued at $80, consider donating a small group or collection with a combined value of $80 or more.

Important Dates

RSVP Deadline: Friday, September 18

Artwork Delivery: Tuesday, September 15 – Friday, September 25 | 11 AM–4 PM. (Closed Sundays & Mondays; please contact us to arrange an alternate delivery time.)

Opening Reception: Friday, October 2 | 5–7 PM

Artwork on View: October 3–17

Final Ticket Drawing: Sunday, October 18 | 2 PM

Tickets go on sale Friday, October 2 starting at 5 pm—for $80 each. Ticket holders will browse the exhibition and rank their favorite works. At the Final Drawing, names are randomly selected, and each ticket holder receives their highest-ranked remaining choice.

Every ticket sold directly supports the Cooperstown Art Association and helps us continue providing opportunities for artists and accessible arts programming for our community.
