That's the vision for 53 Pioneer—a vibrant, year-round arts center in a historic 1826 Cooperstown building.

A $640,000 New York Forward grant has helped launch the project. Now we need our community to help take it to the next level.

Transforming 53 Pioneer into a state-of-the-art arts facility will require a $2 million + investment and will create space for:

LEARNING — a flexible studio and classroom space.
CREATING — affordable classes, workshops, and hands-on experiences for children, teens, and adults.
SUPPORTING ARTISTS —retail space where artists can exhibit, connect with audiences, and sell their work.
CONNECTING — a welcoming place for neighbors, families, artists, and visitors to gather and share ideas.
