The Pumpkin Challenge
It is that time of year again! Last year we reached our goal of 100 pumpkins. Will you help us top it this year? The Cooperstown Art Association challenges the community to help us put together the largest “Pumpkin Glow” yet on the front porch and lawn! Bring your carved or decorated pumpkins with a candle inside to the CAA porch anytime by 6p.m. on Friday, October 28 and the CAA will add them to what will culminate in a dazzling debute of plentiful pumpkins that evening October 28 from 6 – 7 p.m. Anything goes! All pumpkins are welcome!! You can even make this a fun project for your group or organization!
Come take part in the spooky transformation of the porch and lawn as well as Halloween stories told by Bruce Markeson free of charge! A variety of ghastly goodies and treats will be provided by the CAA, Cooperstown General Store, Riverwood, Schneider’s Bakery, Tin Bin Alley and community volunteers in keeping with the Halloween theme. The “Pumpkin Glow” and its goodies are free and open to the public although donations are always welcome!
