Luck of the Draw

Luck of the Draw is back by popular demand!  80 Luck of the Draw Tickets are available for purchase for $80 each.  Every Luck of the Draw Ticket holder will go home with one of 80 pieces of art donated by local and regional artists valued at a minimum of $80.

Uno:  Buy your highly coveted Luck of the Draw Tickets starting September 14th at 11:00am at the CAA.

Deuce: Come visit Gallery B at the CAA to view all 80 pieces of art and choose your favorites.  Then compile your wish list by rating them from 1 to 80.  The pieces will be on display September 28 – October 13, 2012.

Tres:  You can’t lose!  Show up for the final event on Sunday, October 14th at 2 pm.  Names of all Luck of the Draw Ticket holders will be randomly selected.  When your name is called – call out the number of the piece of art you would like to take home.  If you are unable to attend the final event you may send someone to act in your place or we will assign a proxy.

Up the Odds:  You can also participate in the Joker’s Wild Raffle!  Only Luck of the Draw Ticket holders are eligible.  Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the CAA starting September 28.  For $2 a piece and 3 for $5, buy as many as you like.  The lucky individual whose raffle ticket is drawn automatically wins first choice of the 80 artworks on display!

Luck of the Draw will kick off with an opening reception alongside the Central New York Watercolor Society Exhibit in Gallery A and the “Those Who Can!:  Art of Otsego County Art Teachers Past & Present” on Friday September 28th from 5-7pm.  Take a chance on art and walk away with an original piece of artwork valued at a minimum of $80 while showing your support of the CAA, a thriving non-profit art gallery!

The Cooperstown Art Association's galleries are located at 22 Main Street, in the same building as the Village Library and diagonally across the street from the Baseball Hall of Fame.  Admission is free and open to the public.  Gallery hours:  Daily 11-4, Sunday 1-4, closed Tuesdays after Labor Day.  Please call (607) 547-9777 for details or visit us on the web at
