Fresh New Work at the Cooperstown Art Association
The Cooperstown Art Association is pleased to announce the opening reception of a new exhibit and the re-opening of our Artist Sales Gallery to be held Friday, March 8th from 5-7 pm. “An Artistic Discovery” the Congressional Art Competition for Otsego County High School Students will be on display in Gallery A through March 29th. The Artist Sales Gallery will be once again filled with creative unique work and will be open for all your gift giving needs through November! So come out and celebrate the wealth of talent that
“An Artistic Discovery” is a high school art competition held within the 19th Congressional District by county. Six students will be receiving ribbons for their work at the CAA and a digital image of their artwork will then be submitted to Congressman Gibson’s office for final selection in the next phase of competition. From there one student’s work will go on to be displayed in the corridor leading to the US Capitol along with 49 other high-school artists’ work from across the country.
