Mark your calendar!  Fall Classes and Workshops at the Cooperstown Art Association will kick-off with a Grand Opening at 5 Railroad Avenue on Friday, October 4th 5-7pm.  Please join us in celebrating the official opening of our new classroom space, the CAA Big Red Annex Art School with live music, food and art.  Instructors of upcoming classes will be on hand to answer questions and show examples of their work.  Artwork by our young artists that participated in the Summer Handprints Workshops will also be on view for one night only!

 

 

Want to try something new?  Need to get back into an art routine?  Explore your inner artist?  Then the Fall Classes and Workshops at the Cooperstown Art Association may be the right fit for you! Classes are held in our new space at 5 Railroad Avenue unless otherwise indicated.  This fall the CAA is offering: Plein Air Oil Painting with Mary Nolan, Watercolor Landscape with David Kiehm, Landscape Painting with Susan Jones Kenyon, Collage Class with Christine Alexander, and a Handprints Afterschool Art Program for kids.   Workshops include "Paint Like a Plein Air Artist," a Five Day Pastel Painting Workshop with Greg Barnes and a One Day Folk Art Painting Workshop with Pat Wiley. Don’t forget to register and pay for your spot prior to the beginning of each class!
