Polymer Clay Collage Class with Wendy Reich 1 - 3pm
$50 Members/$55 Non-Members *All materials included. On Tuesday & Thursday, August 9th and 11th, from 1-3pm each day, Wendy Reich will be teaching a Polymer Clay Collage Class. In this two part class, students will learn how to make tiles utilizing polymer clay, paint, stamps, beads and found objects to create a colorful mosaic collage. Students are encouraged to bring in items of interest to add to their collage, such as buttons, beads, broken jewelry, shells, etc. Thursday, August 18: Origami with Kevin Gray 1 - 3pm
$25 Members/$30 Non-Members *All materials included. On Thursday, August 18th from 1-3pm, children will learn how to fold paper into interesting animals and objects using the Japanese art of origami. Using brightly colored paper (and also some giant sheets of paper) kids will learn the basic folds needed to make a great variety of designs. By the end of the class kids will take home many different folded paper creations, including a bird that flaps its wings!
The Cooperstown Art Association's Hand Prints Workshops will be held at the CAA upstairs classroom space at 22 Main Street in Cooperstown, NY. The Cooperstown Art Association Galleries are located at 22 Main Street in the Village Building on the corner of Main and Fair Streets. Hours: Daily 11-4, Sunday 1-4.
