UPCOMING ART OPPORTUNITIES at the Cooperstown Art Association Galleries  _______________________________________________________________________ Fenimore Quilt Club Show Registration is THIS Saturday January 28th from 10-3pm!    Registration is ONE DAY ONLY!    Please bring your quilted items to the Cooperstown Art Association galleries on Saturday, January 28th from 10am until 3pm. Exhibitors are asked to register no more than two items. All quilts and wall hangings must have a 6" sleeve or other suitable method for hanging before they may be registered for the show. The only exception is for antique quilts which should not be hung because of their condition. For more details & registration paperwork, please click the link to our website, HERE The highly anticipated Fenimore Quilt Club 2017 Show will be held February 11 through 26, 2017 at the Cooperstown Art Association Galleries. ____________________________________________________________________ * Review * Rework * Experiment * Winter Painting Workshop with Mary Nolan January 29 - March 5, 2017  Sunday Afternoons, 1 - 4pm $170 members  /  $175 non-members In these workshop sessions, we will step out of our comfort zone and familiar way of painting.  We will try new techniques and tools, experiment with different palettes and surfaces, revisit and/or rework old paintings, and explore new and creative painting options.  Some painting experience is necessary! Mixed Media Mosaic Hearts with Wendy Reich!   Saturday, February 4th, 2017 10:00 am - 12:00 pm Members - $20 / Non-Members - $25 Students will make 2 mosaic hearts using colored polymer clay and a variety of techniques that include rubber stamping, painting, embedding, molding, and beading . This would be a great activity for individuals or for parents and kids to attend together! (Ages 6+ please!)
