Cooperstown Art Association and The Smithy Clay Studio Manager - Full time The Cooperstown Art Association and The Smithy are seeking a clay studio manager. Candidate must have a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts with pertinent ceramic experience. Candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, great attention to detail, initiative, a strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as a team member. The candidate should project a positive, pleasant demeanor and enjoy working with the public. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: teacher development, glaze & clay mixing, kiln firing, studio maintenance and safety. Teaching experience and knowledge of hand-building and wheel thrown techniques are preferred. Any experience with photography, social media promotion, and marketing/graphic design would be very desirable. Application Deadline: June 30, 2017
