Safety Protocol:
- All persons using the clay studio will have their temperature taken prior to entering the studio each day they attend. If your temperature is elevated you will not be permitted in the studio. If you feel ill or have traveled outside of NY State within the last two weeks, please refrain from coming to the studio.
- Masks are required at all times in the studio. Please bring appropriate masks and make sure they are cleaned regularly. If you come without a mask we will provide one for you, but this is limited to one time use and must be discarded after the session.
- All persons will be asked to sign in to the studio with contact info for tracing purposes. With this signature you agree to abide by the rules of the studio and the protocol set forth in this list. If you choose not to adhere to these rules we
reserve the right to remove you from the studio.
- While working in the studio we ask that you respect your designated work area and socially distance from others in the studio. We will have floor markings to designate 6ft distances while using a space.
- We ask that you bring as many of your own clay tools as possible. (small clay working tools, towel, bucket, etc.) Larger studio equipment such as the slab roller will still in available for public use. Please take you tools with you after each session.
- Please come dressed to work in the studio. We will not permit changing in the bathroom, and no storage of personal belongings beyond clay and artworks.
- No food or drink will be permitted in the studio. We ask that you eat before coming to the studio. We will not be allowing persons to leave the studio to get food and then return to the studio. If you need to have a drink we ask you step outside in the patio area to remove your mask for a drink.
- Please clean up after yourself thoroughly. Due to the sanitizing we have to conduct any extra cleanup makes this difficult. We ask that you arrive and leave promptly at the scheduled times to facilitate the schedule we have set up for the studio.
- Please respect your fellow studio users and the staff within the studio. We want everyone to feel safe and welcome back at the studio!
