The Cooperstown Art Association is pleased to announce the new virtual art exhibit “An Artistic Discovery,” the Congressional Art Competition for Otsego County High School Students. The exhibit will be available for viewing through our website, www.cooperstownart.com starting Friday, March 5th through Friday, March 26th. Please take the time to view the work of our talented student artists, celebrating the wealth of talent that Otsego County has to offer. Color and creativity abound in all media, brightening up the month of March!

“An Artistic Discovery” is the featured exhibit at the CAA in March each year, displaying artwork submitted by high school students from Otsego County. We treat this exhibit as the first phase of the official Congressional Art Competition. The CAA will select 6 pieces to receive Awards of Merit, submitting those pieces to the Congressional Art Competition. From there, one lucky student will be chosen to represent New York's 19th Congressional District and have their work on display in the corridor leading to the United States Capitol!

The Cooperstown Art Association Galleries are located at 22 Main Street in the Village Hall on the corner of Main and Fair Streets in Cooperstown NY. Gallery Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 11-4pm. Please call 607-547-9777 for more information. Visit us on the web at www.cooperstownart.com.
