Hydro-Printing on Cloth Weekend Workshop with Instructor Andree Baillargeon Friday - Sunday, June 2 - 4, 2017 $220 members / $225 non-member

This workshop is a fresh & playful approach to a traditional printing technique on cloth where we will learn to tap into our intuitive nature & allow our creative impulses to produce beautiful patterns & rhythms of color. We will begin on Friday evening with a yoga/movement session to connect with our medium; using our bodies and minds to reflect upon the motions, gestures & qualities of water. Next, in the studio, we will begin the process of printing and drying our fabrics, from monoprints to complex layering. All materials are included, but bring an apron or smock and a stack of newspaper for skimming! Schedule: Friday - Introduction & Movement, 6-8pm Saturday & Sunday - 10-5pm (w/ lunch break) |
