Birds in Flight: A New Drawing & Painting Class with Dave Kiehm!

NEW CLASS ALERT! The Cooperstown Art Association is now accepting registrations for Dave Kiehm's new class, Drawing & Painting: Birds in Flight!   Back by popular demand, Dave Kiehm will return to the CAA in March to continue teaching us about the basics of bird illustration techniques, focusing on drawing accurate anatomy and proportions and use of color.      Please Note:  It would be helpful to have at least some drawing and painting experience if you'd like to take this class, for which you may use watercolor or acrylics.     Please call (607) 547-9777 ASAP to reserve your spot. The first session meets on March 11th, so don't delay! Drawing & Painting:  Birds in Flight   with Dave Kiehm  4 Session Workshop March 11 | March 13 | March 18 | March 20 Monday & Wednesday Evenings,  6 - 8pm $90 members  /  $95 non-members    We will look closely at birds in flight and work to understand foreshortening of wings and how tail and head positions work together. Paying attention to these critical details, the artist will be able to create the illusion of space and make birds appear more three dimensional.  Watercolor or acrylics work well for this class.   Materials List available on our website!
