M O N D A Y

Advanced Wheel Throwing w/ Jon Stein (8 weeks 9-12pm $220)

03/18 - 05/06

Have you been throwing for a while, but can't quite get the clay to do what you want it to? Are you interested in throwing larger pieces and exploring new forms? Are you your own worst critic and just want to make pots you're proud of? This is the class for you!

Wheel 1-1.5 w/ Eileen Anania (8 weeks 6-9pm $220)

03/18 - 05/13 * no class 05/06

This class is geared towards those who are new or relatively new to the wheel. Seeing someone throwing clay is a pretty magical and mysterious thing. Don't worry, Eileen will walk you through the process step by step and help you get comfortable on the potter's wheel. You're going to love it, trust us!

T U E S D A Y

Hand Building w/ Ann Murdoch Geiger (4 weeks 10-1pm $125)

03/19 - 04/09

Ann told us a little known secret we'd like to share with you: Not every piece of pottery needs to be round! In this class you will learn how to utilize hand building with clay slabs and molds to create unique pieces of original artwork. Emphasis will be put on using texture and surface decoration.

Wheel 1.5 w/ Eileen Anania (8 weeks 9-12pm $220)

03/20 - 05/15 * no class 05/08

So you can throw a cylinder and trim a bowl, now what? In this class you will learn how to create sets, berry bowls and altered forms. Explore the possibilities of what can be made on the wheel and work on creating an individual style.

Center the Potter and the Clay w/ Karla Andela (8 weeks 6-9pm $220)

03/20 - 05/08

Using mindful breathing and stretching, we will approach wheel throwing and hand building with centered attention. Each class will give participants a break from the bustle of life to be present in their journey with the clay. Inhale life, exhale gratitude. Beginners are welcome!

Kids Clay Class w/ Katie Capra (Two 4 week sessions 3:15-5pm $85 per session)

A great opportunity for the next generation to explore the wonderful medium of clay and get their hands dirty! Wheel throwing and hand building techniques will be utilized to make pots, sculptures, masks, and all kinds of cool stuff. Ages 7-14

Independent Study w/ Jon Stein (8 weeks 9-12pm $220)

03/22 - 05/10

Bring your own ideas to class and troubleshoot techniques and processes in order to bring them to life. Whether you are interested in creating your own 8 piece place setting, focusing on teapots, or just improving certain skills, demos in this class will be tailored to the students' interests. Wheel throwers, hand builders, and sculptors, (all with some experience) are welcome.

S A T U R D A Y

Intro to Wheel Throwing w/ Amelia Lee (8 weeks 10-1pm $220)

03/23 - 05/11

No experience, no problem. This class is designed to walk you through making pottery using the wheel with step by step instructions. Haven't you always wanted to try it? Amelia has been a wonderful addition to the studio and is eager to share her excitement for clay with the community.
