Doug Jamieson will be offering a 4-week Intro to Drawing class this fall at the CAA! This class is perfect for the beginner wondering how to start off on the right foot and also for the seasoned artist looking to brush up on their skills. Doug will be introducing a broad spectrum of fundamental processes and techniques, preparing you for whatever subject you may encounter!

Day 1: Approaching the figure, using measurement, proportion, shape, values, line & mass
Day 2: Learning and applying the principles of perspective
Day 3: The basics of rendering landscapes
Day 4: Creating a still life incorporating the skills learned on Days 1-3

Doug has a wealth of knowledge on all of these subjects will be providing plenty of demonstrations, examples, and personalized instruction for you to get the most out of this 4-week class.
