Passage
By Kristen Griger

Kristen Griger is a native to Upstate NY, resident of Otsego county, and lives on a hobby farm in the hills of beautiful Cooperstown. Her work consists of oil on canvas using a limited palette of earth tone hues. The paintings are mounted in a simple wooden frame that she has designed and built by hand. This recent body of work is a visceral response to daily adventures while passing through life. Hiking quiet wooded trails, observing clouds dancing across the sky, witnessing diamond-like dappled sunlight on the lake, all inspire her to honor this beauty with her artistic voice. Passage will be on display until June 26 in Gallery B.
