The jurors this year are Jamie Banes & Emily Falco. These two talented judges have selected 76 artworks from a total of 173 submissions by New York State artists to create a show that is truly outstanding! ESSENTIAL ART will be on display through June 25th in Gallery A.

Fantasy Clocks 2025

By Richard Birkett

“Fantasy Clocks 2025” features the imaginative clock sculptures of Richard Birkett, 2024 Regional Juried Art Show Grand Prize Winner. A former U.S. Marine turned artist, Birkett studied at Fort Wright College, the Studio School in Spokane, and the Skowhegan School. After gaining recognition in the New York art world—including a Hallgarten Award and acquisitions by major institutions—he began creating one-of-a-kind clocks from repurposed materials like typewriter parts and machine components. Powered by Seiko movements and embellished with elements like music boxes and rotating squids, his works blend fine art and functional design. Birkett’s clocks are held in major museum collections and have even caught the eye of collectors like Frank Sinatra. Passage will be on display until June 25th in Gallery B.
